I'm sorry to hear that, but remind yourself, you're with him forever. If you recall a time when you're with someone whom you're sure you're going to marry/die of old age with, then it helps to let yourself know that it's only temporary, the seperations. He'll be back, and soon enough, you won't be able to get him out of your hair because life with him by your side is eternal.

Yeah coincidentally I was thinking exactly that as I got home and realised it's back to reality. I know you're right, but I just get that lonesome feeling after spending time with him and then having to go back to being away from him. :' It's almost like...I don't know..like I'll never see him again, and the future will never happen, etc. ..

That's why you say 'I love you' to him as many times as you can. My Buttahscotch and I stress that exact same reason. It doesn't matter how angry, sad, depressed, happy or in painfully hurt you are, you must always let that person know you love them for if they leave, there's a chance you might not ever see them again.
