Well, you shouldn't have to change all of them all the time. That'll hurt your wallet, but as long as it sounds good.

I could never play bass, those strings cost way too much. And Remember kids, the more expensive your strings are, the better they sound.

There's plenty of bassists out there, it's a norm now. But yeah, it's hard to make it in the world of music and entertainment as a bassist. Even harder being a drummer.
