That sounds interesting, I'll definitely have to see if my father has that. What about, Year Zero, have you got/read that one? It's sort of like Batman Begins in it being a darker reinvention of the origins of batman, and the first in the Long Halloween etc. series.

Yes, that one was good. I think I read another on of these called Batman year 100, do you know of that one?

The greatest Batman comic ever was The Killing Joke. 131

I have that one, it's really good, though I thought it was alittle too short.

It's not the size that counts, it's how you use it. 131

Well yeah, but one would think the comic where Batgirl gets shot and crippled would be abit bigger than an annual.

I've been meaning to read that since it came out, it looks interesting, but since my local comic store closed down I kind of forgot about it. I'll have to see if Amazon has it. Won't Batman be about 80 in it, though?

I'm not too sure. It's been awhile, I'd have to go look for my copy. It's weird cuz in the artwork, he doesn't seem all that old.

I'll see what I can find about it online.

Also, Hush is really good, as well as Arkham Asylum.

Later dudes, I'm out for a bit.

I loved Arkham Asylum, also one of my favourites. It seemed to be a big inspiration for Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow in Begins, who I thought was great.

Hush also seems intriguing even though I don't know anything about it, I've only seen picture's of characters from it. What's the main premise of it?

Seeya Scythe, take care.

Thanks TGF.

Let's see, Hush. Hmm, it's very hard to explain the permise since it's a short story but has alot of twists in it. Well, it's basically about someone in Bruce's childhood coming back corrupt and puppet all his enemies into just flat out f*cking with him. Superman makes a cameo, he rips Metropolis a new one while trying to fight Batman, Catwoman has to threaten to drop Lois Lane off a building just to get Superman to sit the f*ck down, and they defile Jason Todd's grave all to play along the big joke that's f*cking with Batman, which I thought was creepy. There's also a big surprise at the end when you find out the truth and go, holy shit.

Hush was pretty good. It was some of Jeph Loeb's good work, much better than his current Red Hulk bullshit.

Not only that, but Jim Lee's greatest artwork imo. Didja see how hot Harley is, and how insane the Joker looks standing over Bruce's friend while he's just there shot to death.

Hot damn, that sounds good. I'll have to definitely have to read that, I love it when comics have slight crossovers with other characters like that. I'll see if my dad has it tomorrow.

Yeah, but I can accept bad artwork if the story is decent.

Red Hulk has pretty damn good artwork.

But the story makes me wanna kill msyself.

But yeah, the art was good.

I'm gonna have to read that book again. mmm

I know right? I always love seeing Batman fight Superman. Supes only appears in the first volume though, but he makes another appearance in the second volume, but in the batcave just chillin' with Batman.

Can't comment on Spidey, but when you see any Hulk beating down a Watcher, or a Hulk beating down Thor with his own hammer(and using lightning and flight with it) you know something is wrong.

A pretty good theory for why the fvck Loeb did this was made by Spetznaz in Comic Vs.

Marvel seeing what DC had done with the character Superman Prime(pretty much an overpowered alternate Superman) decided to make a similar character, an overpowered Hulk.

But whereas SMP in DC has had many successful and great stories he appeared in, Red Hulk fails at story and dialogue.

"Hulk is NOT a bag of hammers" ftl. 😐
