The duplicate thread issue is of course not solved (probably not even touched) by that. But the OTF is large and even if one is skilled with the KMC Search as well as Google they can by no means be sure that they won't create a duplicate thread. As for new users who oftentimes open them. I guess that is just an annoyance we have to live with. I don't see a fair way out at least.
