Japanese versions vs US Versions

As most of you know lately America has been remaking Japanese horror movies, I think the first on to be remade was the ring, the most recent one is Pulse. So I was wondering, do you guy's prefer the Japanese versions or the US versions?

US versions, although i like the orgional story on the jap versions
The US versions tend to change the story...

The original versions... the Ring(the second was awful) remake was good but I still prefer the original over it.

Neither really.

The original version is almost always better than the remake.

I have liked the US versions, plus I think a horror movie is more scary when I don't have to read subtitles
