Yea but thats cause Thanos wants desperately to become God so he set that goal and accomplished it. As Reed and Strange have never tried to become God who's to say they can't if they don't apply themselves.
The only reason Thanos was able to become God three times is becuz no one knew what he was up to. He's outside of Times loop so the LT couldn't stop him and one of the times was another Thanos. If he had someone planning a counter, he might not have made it that far. By rights, the games master should have outwitted him. After all, the games master tricked krona with Metron's help. Tyrant out witted him. But Thanos is smart. I just dont' think he's as smart as reed. Reed is a human and can accomplish so much without being a Titan or a sorcerer. That might be but he didn't stop him after he got the IG.
This is simply ridiculous. Have you forgotten that among Thanos' powers is a great knowledge of magic? Dr. Strange has nothing here. And as for Reed's intellect, Thanos has peered into the Infinity Well for long bouts of time. His intellect is simply god-like.
Though Thanos has died in the Annihilation series, Keith Giffen has hinted that Thanos may become the next Death. Fact is, Thanos truly is one step ahead of everyone, even when everyone doesn't know what that extra step entails.
reed has tech, strange has magic and thanos has both. his skills with magic are rarely seen but hes supposedly pretty good at it. probably not as good as strange though. id say hes smarter than reed, hes supposed to be superhumanly intelligent, and his intelligence translates to the practical world much better than reeds. hes destroyed or ruled the universe a number of times, and even saved it on the odd occasion.
even his half interested attemps are genious, like in she hulk recently when he had a clone show up and claim the reason he was in love with death is becuase his brother did some love spell on him to stop him being scared. almost everyone fell for it, in the end he was found out and the clone said the original probably didnt really care, he just thought it was amusing. i dont think anyone can stop thanos with prep.
