Star Date 2566 - Captain's Log:

In the year 2009 Squirrel Girl and Wolverine hooked up, got married and started having children (or pups, as we now call them).

Due to Wolverine's amazing powers, like being able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, being faster than a speeding bullet, able to regenerate from a quarter-milligram of scorched, blasted, dehydrated radioactive particle and being more powerful than Hulk, Thor and Superman together (not to mention the agilty of a scalded cat)

combined with

Squirrel Girl's invulnerability, her powerful telepathy, her ability to keep a score of men's balls in her mouth and her paralyzing beauty

these children became the New Gods of planet Earth, and were worshipped as holy entities.

Unfortunately, these were not kind rulers - no! They demanded sacrifice! Each day the challenge had to be met - entire armies slaughtered for their entertainment and amusement!

That is why we are broadcasting from this hollowed-out asteroid - we are the last surviving humans in the galaxy, the only ones that have escaped -

Ya know, I have nothing in particular against her, just everything she stands for. I cant help but to feel like all these wins she has been adding up is all a setup for a unexpected death. Like being shot by a mugger or maybe joining the exiles only to be eaten by a alternate reality's Wolverine. Something that you'd pick the comic up with a smile expecting to see squirrelly shenanigans but end up depressed and downtrodden at the end.
