X-man and Hulk went up against Thanos one time and it didn't look good for either of them🙂 Thats not to say X-man hasn't changed over time but unfortunetly so has Thanos.

Edit: Try Thanos vs. Vulcan, Shaman, & God-like Cable. Even then, I still don't think that would be enough to put down Thanos
