Its depressing because most of the fanbase for PotC is based around Jack Sparrow and now Elizabeth and Jack....hardly anyone is emotionally attached to W/E and Will..Sorry but its true. IMO they have basically teased the audience with something spectacular and interesting and are then going to say "na na na na na..you cant have it!"
And I dont just mean the J/E fans..seriously even the critics will slate it. I see it coming..
I do find it weird how johnny wrapped but then went back to shoot something small...but this scene matches in perfectly with that ending everyone already knows about..
Also.what is with the amount of fricking clues/mentions/symbols about children in BOTH movies??? they ALL link to Jack/Liz and NOT William Turner..I mean fertility symbols...Gibb's lines..in BOTH movies..Barbossa's lines...Jack's cut lines when talking about the cannibal children (lack there of)...

Speaking of the cut line of thee cannibal childrens...What did he say?? because from what i heard T&T saud that line is very important in part III that they had to cut it cuz it will give away too much info.....

I think Jack wants to be a dad...It would make sense if he was the kids dad..all the child clues in AWE and DMC point to Jack being the dad, The very fact Jack is even thinking of having a life partner(Liz) when he's about to die (in debt wih Davy) suggests he wants to continue is blood line..but looking at these pics and info..the father seems to be Will.
Lovely remember there are at least two endings, do you think that they are going to end the movie with Liz and the kid waving good bye at Will . "Bye daddy see you when I turn 20". Are you certain that the scene is set after 10 yrs and that is the final scene? Dominic is not even in that scene. Is that a kick ass ending, like it was previously described by TnT. No, that would be more like a kick in the ass. Depending on the definition of the word.
Ohh like you said, we cannot forget all those hints that were given in DMC and from what I read in the 36, all those passing on lines were directed at Jack not Will. I don't know how the audiences will perceive it. I'm pretty sure that the audiences that are unaware of all of this are going to be expecting that the kid belongs to Will, not Jack. So which ending would be more of a kick-ass?
To this argument, all I'm going to say is that I trust the writers. I rather not call them liars and disrespecting them because it's an ending that we don't exactly want. I trust in what they are doing. I know they think about the audience, they don't think from their asses, they have brains of a writer and a heart of gold--love for the POTC fans.
I don't like on how they like to boo at T&T because of a rumor or a spoiler or some crap mentioned in a media. There are some things I don't understand what they are doing, but that doesn't give me the right in disrespecting them. I'm not a suck up, I respect T&T because they have years of experience.
I'm keeping my beliefs. But ost importantly, I'm keeping my belief on T&T. Also, just because a person doesn't post much doesn't make he or she a lurker. Maybe that person is afraid on the way we react on calling everyone, especially from KTTC, a lurker. I think that's why they are not posting. Why bother to post in a forum that still won't let go?
I'm a member at KTTC also I haven't posted much, but they are not calling me a lurker as far as I'm concerned. So let's try to make peace. And I honestly think this thread should be left alone. This thread has caused too much problems. You may call me crazy or whatever on keeping my hopes bla bla boring I know. But I will be damned to hear that T&T hate their script and won't bother on giving us that ending--that closure. I know they KNOW what they are doing.
