Quiero ver,
I want to see
un poco de tu boca
a piece (or bit) of your mouth
quiero estar,
I want to be
en tu piel,
In your skin
con tu perfume de miel.
with your honey (or sweet) scented perfume
Quiero ver,
I want to see
el brillo de tus ojos.
The brightness in your eyes
quiero estar,
I want to be(or "have" as the next sentence dictates)
bien la luz,
good or well the light (as in I want the light to be well)
con la que me miras tú.
With which you see me (the light to be well so you can see me well)
Quiero oir,
I want to hear
los versos de tus labios,
The word from your lips
y sentir, junto a ti,
And feel next to you
como tu propio carmin.
Like your own carmine
Edit: This song plays off of a similar theme found in Jose Luis Perales romance songs in which the singer describes a women using the senses and the being. Also call to mind that this song moves from a memory perspective and hope to a sense of fading and hopelessness. Very similar to the above example. However this is not to insinuate that Summer Love plagiarized off of Jose Luis Perales, but rather point out the similarity in Latino Love Songs.
