The Help Spartan with his chemistry test thread

Its simple just answer these questions for me....

Which species does not have a noble gas electron configuration?

Na+
Mg2+
Ar
S

Because of its high reactivity, which element is never found free in nature?

O
F
N
Ne

Given the unbalanced equation:
Ca(OH)2 + (NH4)2SO4 -> CaSO4 + NH3 + H2O
What is the sum of the coefficients when the equation is completely balanced using the smallest whole-number coefficients?

5
7
9
11

Which element forms an ion that is larger than its atom?

Cl
Ca
Li
Mg

I didn't get any wrong so far and I have about 10 left so any help would be great

i never took chemistry

Oh my god thanks.... they're all right, except for number 3 but I checked it over and went with choice 3 instead and got it right. Thanks a lot! 😄

Yeah, well, whatever. Am I bovvered? glare

You sure that NH4 2SO4 is the right formula, cause looking at the covalancy, that MAKES NO sense.

ahhhh there I got it............

ITs (NH4)x2SO4

THE answer is 7

I got 7 too. hm

Ca(OH)2 + (NH4)2SO4 -> CaSO4 + 2(NH3) + 2(H2O)
