But now I'm starting to like Supergirl! There's something about a really sweet, innocent-looking girl like that drinking and smoking and swearing and hanging out in bars and flying around in REALLY short mini-skirts, which leaves the question of underwear totally open....
Plus the fact that she can kick your or anybody else's ass with both her feet and her hands tied behind her back, and you might like it a little...
I'd definitely say she's a contender.
I have always loved Modesty Blaise as well, and think she should get a bit more respect here. In fact, I may just start a Modesty Blaise vs Punisher thread here - the only problem is, most people here have probably never heard of Modesty Blaise or Willie Garvin or The Network... 🙁 😠
