Well Vodo got got owned by Exar Kun. Now while Kun > Dooku, I doubt he get as overwhelmed as Vodo was.

In addition, Dooku would try to toy with Vodo, but Vodo would be stronger than that. Then Dooku catches him off guard with his trump card: the Force, and then kill him with a masterful combo like the Kick-Choke-Throw we saw in ROTS.
