But I think this story is so sad 😬
Just thinking about her poor children who will have to grow up without a mum because of a stupid competition.
The station should have researched the thing properly to see if it was life threatening before going ahead with it. ❌

I hope they don't blame themselves for it happening because she was doing it for them, because that will be something very hard to live with.

Actually that did happen. But it wasn't WoW. It was another game. The story is that a Korean teen enter a MMORPG 54hr marathon. After the contest ended the teen collapse of dehydration and was pronunce dead in the hospital. 54hr of gaming in one sitting...no water or food....sad.

Thats seriously very sad and depressing, that in modern society people will put their health at risk for a thing that will be forgotten about in 5 years, it's for the kids fair enough but she should have known her limits.

Also this probably reflects the education system in america today, When do you guys start learning about your bodies? i don't just mean birds and bees i mean like what drug is going to be absorbed how? and how you can die from drinking too much water too fast.

These are things you should all know, i pray most do ( sounds like a preach and is a preach)but seriously any athlete will tell you, lots of water+fast+ no peeing doesnt go down well.
