Colbert on O'Reilly; O'Reilly on Colbert...

Figured this would interest many as it relates to some of whats being talked about in other threads:

A treasure-trove of truthiness!!

Tonight at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, brand-name satirist Stephen Colbert appears on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” for the first time.

Tonight at 11:30 p.m., former local-news anchor and teacher turned ratings king Bill O’Reilly appears on Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” for the first time.

I'll be watching, how about you?

Interesting...Cool.

What does "teacher turned ratings king" mean?

This week there's a great ad running in the Hollywood trades which congratulates Larry King for being ranked as "one of the top rated news shows on TV" (I believe he came in at #7). The joke being that the ad shows a list of the Top 15 rated news shows (with King's placement circled in red) and guess what? The Number One slot belongs to O'Reilly (by a truly commanding lead) while every other slot ALSO belongs to a Fox News Channel show. In short, King was the ONLY non-Fox show to even place in the top 15. CNN and MSNCBC..... not so much. 😛

I bet you like to watch...

The O'Reilly Factor just ended...wow. I forgot how much of a blowhard wingnut O'Reilly is. He's such a moron that he screams at Stephen Colbert at the very idea that he might be French.

From October 2004 to the present, Bill O’Reilly has lost 1.1 million viewers per night:

In October 2004, the O’Reilly Factor averaged 3.1 million viewers per night.

Presently, the O’Reilly Factor averages 2,052,000 viewers per night.
How can Bill O’Reilly claim that his ratings have increased when they have decreased 37% in two years?

Furthermore, how can Bill O’Reilly claim that the O’Reilly Factor is a “No Spin Zone” when he does not even tell the truth about its ratings?

Dishonesty can make anything true (or maybe he's just an ass)

haha. On the show tonight, O'Reilly claimed that he does "a lot better" than The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Obviously not true 😬
