bios tend to over-generalize things, especially with a flawed "seven point" scale in terms of strength or speed or fighting skills. in-comic feats are considered more to be "hard evidence," though they have a tendency to be contradictory to other feats or to bios.

it's just easier to say "look, he did this" than "look, this bio says he could do this"

Great explaination. BUT! In some situations, ppl will say, "bad writing" or "CIG" or whatever. That's why I like bios. Fans can't change what's been written to prove their point.
