Hahaha, Johnny Cash's version of Hurt gets credit because he was dying and he's a legendary musical figure that everybody felt bad that they didn't listen to. Hence why he's another name who got many fans after he died.

It's overlooked that his version of Hurt sounds like a zombie getting a bed bath. "BUT IT'S JOHNNY CA...", no, shut up. I like Johnny Cash, but his version sucked. The original wasn't even that good, people just think they have to say it is.
