Yes, only his fists...while in his domain! Mephisto says he can't actually "beat" Thor because Thor has an immortal soul. Tell me that isn't just friggin' stupid.

Now, his only real power seems to be he can trick people. He doesn't seem to show any of his planet busting skills anymore.

But he does call himself the lord of lies in the same comic.
So he could be overhyping himself, and referencing God at the same time.
Seems like the case.

Plus, I think I have the reason why Mephisto lost to Thor and so on.
Here he clearly shows that he holds back in almost every fight he is in.

If he crushes his opponent, he won't get their soul.

So maybe, he was trying to get Thor's soul, and at the end of the fight, he found out he couldn't?
I don't know though, I haven't seen it.

My guess is either LT or TOAA. I can't think of anyone else off-hand who would be powerful enough that even Mephisto would admit they were stronger.
