Zatanna gets no respect sometimes. Nice to see her as one of the most formidable mages in all of comics.

Her problem is she's like Martian Manhunter, very versatile and strong but also very easily 'Worfed'. Z can be taken out pretty easily if her guard's down, or even if she just underestimates a foe, and at the same time she's really uber if she's being serious and knows to be at her top game.

Zee, exhausted by her rigorous performance schedule, is temporarily rendered powerless by a gang of witch hunters. The arrow to the throat might have been a factor in there too. Anyhow, she fights hand to hand with a serious injury for a while, waiting for her elixer to heal her vocal chords (which might just be standard equipment now?) and then time dumps these guys back in time for a bit of punishment.
