Coachella 2007

The big news is, of course, Rage Against the Machine reuniting for the Coachella Music festival -- which is pretty much the best music festival in North America.

Here is the list of bands who will perform at the 2007 version of Coachella.

I counted 13 bands I would love to see; chief among them, RATM, but pretty close the Red Hot Chili Peppers (I've seen them twice, and they put on great shows both times) and Ghostface Killah.

There's a couple of bands there I'd like to see, not too many to be honest.

For a festival to be absolutely worth it, especially in California heat in the Summer, it'd have to be packed to the brim with exceptional bands, but it never is.

Throw in The Smashing Pumpkins (There's an offer out to them, allegedly) and you might have a line up to rival Coachella 04.

Meh. I'm not the biggest fan of Jesus and Mary Chain. I think hearing of their laziness in touring compared to their American contemporaries of the time turned me off to them.

Hardly

Some fantastic bands from what I can see on that poster.

I don't know how I forgot Sonic Youth and Jarvis Cocker.

Also:

DJ Shadow, the Decemberists, Busdriver, Comedians of Comedy, Willie Nelson, Ozomatli, the Roots and the Coup.

I saw them in July and I kept yelling "Diamond Sea", didn't play it though.

Ha, they have so many different songs to play.

And you weren't 'that guy' that night, were you?

Ha ha I hope not

bands id like to see:
Bjork, Interpol, Dj Shadow, Felix Da Housecat, Tokyo Police Club, El-P, Kings of Leon, The Rapture, LCD Soundsystem, Blonde Redhead, Hot Chip, MSTRKRFT, Explosions in the sky, Jose Gonzalez, the kooks.

I only ever shouted out for a song at a gig once, just because I forgot myself.

Otherwise I think it's pathetic, because they have a setlist.
