Can Sidious really forsee things?

As he claimed? I mean there were times when he was right and wrong but were when he was right were they just hunches or was e really prophesying?

Sidious probably can forsee the future, but as well all know what happened in Return of the Jedi.

LoE explained it. No one can really "see the future", Sidious was simply gifted enough to have access to "streams" of potential futures. Which is why he could screw up from time to time. He had the possible outcomes and then used his intellect to manipulate one into coming into fruitation.

yea like he ''forseen'' luke joining the dark side...

its "foresaw"

"Always in motion the future is" - Yoda

Thats why. And what Gideon said.

I don't know, Kreia did see the future herself, 4,000 years before it happened.

And yet Kreia was unable to see her own defeat and death, like Sidious. As I said, they had access to streams of possibilities.

Maybe it doesn't allow you to see your own death...pretty much everyone who could foresee things couldn't see their own deaths.

Or the Kreia thing is just KOTOR bullshit. But I believe that it was something with the core of Malachor, might remember wrong though...

That was just thrown in there to be cute.

But it was wrong. Boba comes back.

boba is technically Jango, and boba isnt the last of the mandalorians

Mace saw the future of the galaxy in Shatterpoint! firefirefireph

If we're talking in technical terms, was Boba even a mandalorean? But did that Kreia really forsee a blind guy making Boba fall in a sarlacc? Seems kind of useless.

I believe he and Kreia could see the future, but it's not really fool proof either. It's not like you close your eyes and a movie starts playing where you get to see every little thing that happens, it's likely just small flashes of certain possible events, hence why they don't see everything.

Or maybe they get feelings that something'll happen. srug

Maybe it's where Fore see comes from (Force see)

"Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen ..."

"I have forseen it."

What were you saying?

"he foresaw Luke joning" is more appropriate than "he foreseen Luke joining."

I'm a grammar Nazi, I know. Shut up.

oh absolutely...to be honest, i just saw that one post and figured he meant that wasn't a word or that it wasnt what Palps said, lol...my bad. I hang my head in internet shame...🙁
