Green Lantern movie!!!

Green Lantern has been in developmental hell for years. Tom Cruise was rumored a couple years back. Now Jim Carrey or Jack Black were rumored to make a comedic version. I think they should wait until the right script for GL comes around.

Amen to that!!! A Green Lantern movie is just what we need,and tom cruise might make a good one. {if he would} I'd like to them lay a little more ground work on origins, talk old school hal jordon, gaurdions of Oa, and villians like Sinestro.

Sinestro is a great villian for Hal to fight. Who would play Hal and Sinestro?

Green lantern movie has been greenlit

According to Latino Review, Production Weekly's current issue slates "Green Lantern" as in development. The official description of the film reads:
Each sector of space is protected by a Green Lantern, possessing a power ring that uses a powerful green energy to do anything within the limits of the user's imagination and will power. When the Green Lantern assigned to this sector of space finds himself dying on planet Earth, he tells the ring to find a suitable successor. The chosen replacement, hot-shot test pilot Hal Jordan, finds himself with a new job he never expected.
Perhaps the most interesting bit of news is that the film will center on Hal Jordan, whereas the Green Lantern in "Justice League" is John Stewart. So will "Green Lantern" feature a different continuity than "Justice League," or is Warners following Marvel's lead in creating their own DC movie universe? Could we be looking at a "Green Lantern Corps" flick in the not-so-distant future? Color us green with excitement! (Or maybe that's just lunch talking...)

I think Daniel Ray Lewis would make a great Sinestro.

I assume you mean scenes set in space, rather than spatial scenes. And, while I love both Batman and Superman's recent film outings, it would indeed be nice to see more DC characters making the transition to the big screen.

Common was slated to be John Stewart in the piece of shiite JLA movie that thank goodness is dead. The Green Lantern movie should be about Hal Jordan and Hal alone with the villain being Sinestro..

Yes it is. The only other people that should be in the GL movie should be a few of the Guardians
