Totally not worth lighting up another cigarette. Most girls I've dated in the past have smoked, or were around smokers a lot, so they didn't care. My current girlfriend however, can't stand the smell of cigarettes, but doesn't care if I smoke them long enough apart from seeing her that I smell.
My advice is go sit outside for a cold for a bit, usually helps for me. Also, you can get nicaderm gum at a gas station, though I don't know if it works or not.
