Penciler, Inker or Colourer?

Which do you think is more responsible for making the new Moon Knight series look good?

All 3 of them, as that does look really cool.

Over the years of doing my own stuff, I have developed much respect for inkers.

However, everyone was doing a good job on those covers 🙂

The inks really do wonders for the story. Perfectly suited for the tone of this book. But I agree that everyone responsible for should get a fair shake

The Inker probably did the best but the colourer and penciller still did amazing jobs.

Want to give it to David Finch, but the postwork in comics these days is what makes it look so good - props to the colouring department.

The first Moon Knight series was distinct too, for having great covers; often painted.

They are a combined force. Though I suppose it's easier to colour and ink something that somebody else has already drawn. But only slightly.

I'll say pencils since I enjoy looking at not yet inked and uncolored characters and panels.

This is by far the best art of 2006 IMO. Everything about it looks great.

Hey, Scoobs! Do you happen to have a lot of Moon Knight comics? Or does someone else have them?

If so, I really feel that Moon Knight deserves a respect thread. People should see his skills.

I think some of the Annihilation covers were/are better than Moon Knights.

I agree completely, Annihilation's cover's have been amazing. Even the mini series covers were off the charts, but i was referring to the inside art. Moonknight's inside art is phenomenal. Annihilation's art has been decent at best. Some of the mini- solo's insides were dreadful.

Can you imagine if the same art for the covers in Annihilation would have bee used on the inside. 😱 Probably to hard though.

Civil War has cool art too, although it would not be half as good without the colorist.

Blade and X-Men: First Class both have better covers...

Oh, and it's colorist . 😉

It's the tracer... I mean, "inker" 😉

Of course, it's also in their favour that Moon Knight has the coolest costume in all comics. 😎
