All this is EXACTLY why I don't have a religion. I don't believe a word coming out of any of your mouths. It's always "God this" or "Budda that" or "Alluh the other thing". Religion is little more that a huge popularity contest, and I will NOT participate!

I should have worded it different. It's not that I mind the historical figures or abstract concepts -im an imaginative, it's my hobby to think about such things- what I mind is that at every turn someone is more or less POUNDING this stuff into my skull and telling me how much better my life will be if I take their respective "god" into my life.

I have found much comfort and wisdom in the teachings of Buddha, but I do not worship him. Buddha never asked to be worshipped, he saw himself as everyone else's equal. He simply acheived Enlightenment, and hopes all can do the same.
