Darth Extecute
Time is of the essence
"Cuiva Carbo. Cuvia Cadelt. Cuvia Catherine."
The words echoed trough the large forest, which originated from a deserted building in the middle of nowhere. Hidden from man's mortal eye trough magic, a metal clad magician strove trough the building, making symbols in the air by using magical dust. The dust of the fallen phoenix, which was the only dust possible of fulfilling the mans demands.
"Lucis. Lucis. Obscura. Obscura"
"Nárendûr - Tira nottolya - Tulta tuolya - An mauya mahtie.
Ter oiomornie - Ter ondicilyar - Mettanna - Nurunna!"
The forest commenced a quake. A quake that strong, and yet inflicting any injury to the trees or any other living beings within it. Even a blind and deaf baby girl would realise that there was a force of evil that caused all this to happen. A force so strong, man had not yet seen it's equal.
"APSOLUTUS!"
That one word echoed trough not only the forest, but the entire land. The strength of the magic caused the forest from where the spell was casted to implode. Every tree, animal and other objects within the forest were engulfed into a world of nothing. Their final moment on this earth as man knew it, was over. The only thing remaining, in a crater at the size of New York City was this one building, standing on a pillar of earth. The pillar was just about as big as the building, which unbelievable enough stood steady.
The man within the building grinned as the ritual was completed. It was his first ritual in hundreds of years, and by the look of it, it was rather successful. He peaked out of the window with a grin crossed over his face. The ruins of the forest were more a satisfaction to him, than a moment of grief. He knew things could have ended up much worse, if he would have spoken one single word wrong. Who knows, it could maybe even have been the end of the world. But it was worth the chance. He had felt the end was drawing near, and he was not prepared to fight it alone. No matter how much pain it inflicted him, this ritual was necessary to the survival of this world. At least, that was what he thought when doing it. He did not care if the world ended. He would live it trough. He always did.
"Cain... You idiot.."
A voice was heard, and Cain smiled. This meant that the ritual was a success. He had broken the boundaries of time itself. Time and space had been defied by his hand. He turned around, leaning his back against the wooden wall and with a grin over his face, he started to speak.
"Well, have a look at that. The entire family. I'm glad you could....." He paused for a moment, observing the four people in front of him.
"The.. The entire family...." He said stuttering, staring at Caroline.
"I.. I.." He turned silent, placing his hand over his head.
"How is it possible? I did not include your name! Caroline.. Go home!" He mumbled, looking at the little girl. She giggled, flapping with her wings in an attempt to fly. Without success.
"Dont you feel bad now, brother. Everyone cant be evil masterminds like me" She said, walking up to Cain and patting him on the head.
"Cain.. You idiot.. Do you realise what you've done?" The same voice was heard once more. Cain raised his head and observed the woman. She was dressed up in the most advance combat equipment this world would ever see. At the time being, it was as well covered in blood.
"You cant just break time and space like that.. Especially not when I'm about to arrest the worst criminal future has to offer. I was sooooo close, when you came in and blew it all.. Cain.. You idiot" She said, sighing.
The only two that seemed willing to talk at all, were the two sisters. The brothers stood quiet, watching Cain arguing with the two sisters. They knew that even if he had defeated both angels and demons. Fought armies and lived, there was one thing he still could not prevail trough. A verbal battle against two females. They knew it was for the best to shut up, therefore they did. Walking up between Catherine and someone else when she was pissed was like signing your own rune-stone. The two of them, no matter how much the two brothers hated each-other, Carbo and Cadelt sat down side by side. They started the game called 'rock, paper, scissors' to let time pass, while a too loud arguing was made between the woman by the name of Catherin and the man name Cain took place.
Minutes passed into hours, and the game started to get a little bit boring.
"...... And as the end-line, you take Caroline with us!! You have any idea how heartless.. How cruel.. She's just a kid.. No matter if she ages or not.. Cain.. You idiot.....!" She said, pausing.
The two brothers raised their heads in amaze, that she actually shut up. She was quiet. After several hours of arguing, she was quiet. The game seized and the two got up. Cain stood stunned, cornered in the building with the pissed Catherine in front of him.
"And they say she has no powers.." Carbo laughed, patting Cadelt on the shoulder. Before he got the chance to say anything else, Catherine turned around, targeting him with her gun
"What are you laughing at?!" She growled, and Carbo quickly hid behind Cadelt.
"N-N-Nothing..." He stuttered, hiding and peaking out carefully from behind Cadelt.
"Now.. Where are we? When are we? What are we doing here? When will we be going home?" Carbo said, finally gathering the courage to leave the back of Cadelt. He took a peak out of the window, observing the huge crater. He took a deep breath, turning to Cain.
"You have some explaining to do.. Why did you summon us? What is happening? And why is this house the one and only visible thing as far as eye can reach?"
