C. C. Cowgirl
Queen of Feuds
Ven turned around to see the pyramide behind him. He got up, feeling a great pain in both back and arms. He could see Val laying further back, among the others. Ven could easily reach the warp-gate from here, but that would make him have to leave Val behind. Never before had Ven had so many thoughts crossing his mind in so little time. Quickly, Ven dashed back out into the field. As he ran in the opposite direction of the others, he had the upper hand in encounters. He threw himself at Tsu Pak, tackling the man to the ground. Quickly rolling almost like a ball, he got up just in front of Jackal and he grinned as the man was practicaly falling into Ven's arms. He grabbed Jackal in the air and threw him to the ground with a high force. Ven then bent down over Val.
"I am sorry, love! Get up!"
Val just laid unconcious and Ven closed his eyes. He lifted her up and took a deep breath. Everything felt so meaningless at the moment. Everything felt as it moved in slowmotion. Passers tackled Ven but he could not care less. He looked down at the unconcious Val and turned in the direction of the pyramide. He then turned in the other direction and looked down upon Val again.
"I am sorry! I was the one having us granted with eternal life. Who knows, maybe death is a salvation. When the ancient egyptian God of death gave us immortality, he maybe gave it as a curse instead of a blessing. Val, dear. It is over"
Ven turned his head to the pyramide with a smile. He doubted that he would get released from the curse that easy. Something told him that the end of the world was not the end of his existance. Not that it mattered anymore. His loved one was on the edge of death and he had failed his promise.
He walked in the opposite direction, ignoring all the people that passed by, running towards the pyramide. He shook his head, watching them desperatly fighting of the crowd. It was almost embaressing, it was like a herd of dogs running to the one and only bowl of food. He grinned and shook his head. He bent his head down and gave Val a kiss, before climbing up a high rock. It gave him a view over the entire field and he slapped Val, having her wake up. He held his arms around her and smiled. Some people had already reached the warp. Others were near.
"Goodbye, everyone! Good luck, heroes!"
He lowered his head and closed his eyes. He ran his hand over Val as well and closed her eyes too.
"Forgive me, God almighty, thy I have sinned. I followed a path of darkness, I vanquished the ancient Gods of Egypt, I was inchest away from releasing Darkness itself, I took unholy oathes and most importantly, I failed a promise to my wife. I am aware that people like us burn in hell, but without that said I would have burnt in hell with a guilty conscience. Accept my apology, thy I regret!"

Cosmestica heard the warning shout of Jacope III, quickly ducking lithely, making herself about the height of a cat. She turned around, punching straight up against the attacker, hitting his crotch. Bankostubo crinched and as he dropped the sword, Cosmestica grabbed it midair, spinning around and making a slash trough his chest.
Cosmestica was behind a lot of people, but could easily gain position. She held tight to the sword she had just claimed as hers as she dashed trough the field. She used a rock as ramp and leapt over the man in front of her. Moufang.
"Thank you for the heads up, Jacope III! I never forget anything"
Cosmestica grinned, as she raised her sword, throwing it straight in the direction of Yuen Biao. She may not have her powers still, but her memory did not fail her as to who was worthy of passing the warp and not. Power or not, she could still aid good and hunt evil.
Cosmestica then extended her arm, grabbing the hand of Jacope III, pulling him to the side, away from Ven who passed in high speed, running in the wrong direction, tackeling everyone in his path. She had a better sight than what Jacope III had of that situation and she smiled as she patted him on the shoulder. Maybe Jacope III would have seen Ven but why take the chance.
"We are not even yet"
Cosmestica smiled at him and dashed forth again. He had saved her life and she had only given him time. Which in a sense was the same time, but not in the mind of Cosmestica. She would return the favor, one way or the other.
