NiGHTS vs. Mario

NiGHTS fighting Wizeman the last boss of NiGHTS into dreams. For those of you who don't know NiGHTS.

Mario (Nintendo) has went toe to toe for Sonic back in the 2D era of the Genesis and the SNES. But when Mario went to 3D with Super Mario 64 Sega made a game to be their answer to Mario with Yuji Naka (creator of Sonic and ex-President of Sonic Team), Sonic Team made the character NiGHTS and the game NiGHTS into dreams... but Mario learned of this and wanted to take down NiGHTS.

Mario grabbed hold of his winged cap and flew off to where NiGHTS was flying around in Twin Seeds and there to two met...and the two engaged in combat neither willing to back off until they were crowned winner.

Who wins?

NiGHTS wins.

There were sort of "attacks" that NiGHTS did.

One was doing a loop which created a vortex in between when the loop was complete.

Another was basically spin head butting the enemies (notably the water tank boss.)

And finally, grabbing onto the enemies in the air and tossing them into something.

NiGHTS is an experienced flier. Mario isn't. Mario's form of flying is more gliding for short periods of time, otherwise for the most part, he's a grounded kind of fighter.

Also, NiGHTS is known best as a flier. Mario is best known as a jumpman.

Never said Mario was restricted to flying I just gave Mario unlimited use of the winged cap to give him more of an advantage here against NiGHTS

Mario gets his ass handed to him.
