IMO, it all whent sour after the summer of 2005. Too many wussy geeks, a far too many 1 page threads. I remeber the days when i used to Insult everyone when i debated, and no one batted and eye lid. They may stick up for themselves but they wouldn't go crying off to the mods. There where some truely interesting peeps back then ....

I just went thru and brosed thru a bunch of comic forums and goddamnit we "KMC" are for like friends/family than most out there. Im seriousl even longtime rival like GS & Whirly were good buddies amongst the arguing and such>oh they loved it. Like a'la Batman/Superman thing between eachother. But other forums ive checked even long time members ARE STRIGHT UP DICKS TO EACH OTHER! had to get it out there> this IS MY SECOND HOME>im just like that one guy who just keeps to himself is all.

The Golden age was the birth of the VS forums, when AC and Asian Hulk were the two greatest posters alive.

Silver age was the birth of posters such as Cosmic Cube, GS, CM, Whirly, and a few others.

The forums are pretty average right now. It's been worse and it's been better.

I'd say current age rocks, especially with the mongooses rising, the new tournaments, the scans, the rivalry between me&martian, bran&smurf, the banning of Xmeat (and hopefully devilgoblin if he ever comes back), the storm fanboys (LIGHTNING IN THE BRAIN! 😱 ) this is an age of wonders. 😄

In terms of forum options and breadth of information, this is obviously the best time. We have the newly-added respect forum (which is probably the best on the net), regular tournaments, some very knowledgeable members, and information/discussion on an insane # of comic-related topics.

The downside is, with size comes morons. There's never been more needless threads, more annoying fanboys, more spam, more socks, etc. The actual debate in the vs. forum is a mockery of what it used to be, when actual discussion took place in every thread.

So there ya go. The good and the bad, as I see it.
