Support mechanism to stay here? I'm in the military, so that's my mechanism. And Japanese are biased against pretty much everyone that's not Japanese. They feel superior to most foreigners. Just the way it is. I'm not recording it or even worrying about. That's simply the way they are. I can't change it. I just live my life and stay away from the Japanese who have a problem with me.

Makes sense to stay away from people who have problems (with another person for no good reason)...your doing a good job, stay encouraged! 🙂
You know, in case you go to areas that maybe iffy, you can bring a female who has a nice back-opened dress/shirt. See, from what I read a while ago, Japanese men LOVE the back, a pretty back is like erotic to them, so you can appease your enemies by bringing a female along who has a nice back-opening shirt or dress top. I bet they'll be too distracted to care what race you are or what you doing in Japan.

No, I think that is an unlikely generalisation, though, I assume it might be applicable in some cases. I for one am so comfortable with my size that I won't even tell it for fear that I get laughed at.
