The whole Izzie and Denny thing really just proves how much life can truly suck. How much you can suffer and go through so much shit to think you're finally happy, you're done, and in the end have the carpet ripped from under your feet. Not everyone gets that perfect life they dreamed of. Not everyone winds up rich, successful, beautiful. Not everyone winds up happy. How can you make sure you're one of the lucky?
The whole Meredith/Derek/Finn thing just made me realize how unlikely it is to even end up truly happy. Here she has two people who love her to bits, and one of which is her soulmate in my opinion, but how many people truly find that other person? How many people spend their whole life with someone and love them until the day they die? And how many people are never happy with who they have because they're always on the lookout for that other one? Why are some people lucky to find THEM and others just don't? Like how do you know when you're McDreamy finally pops up?
