Emma is more... crafty than Jean. She's better in terms of prep than Jean. Jean adds mostly raw power to the fight... While Emma and Charles may prepare some nasty surprises.
Emma there looks like an Olympic level fencer with sharp but thin rapier - compared with a group of big strong guys with big heavy maces. She may lack strength- but when she strikes she knows how to make it really painful...

One question: where exactly does the fight take place? If it’s on Marvel Earth, then MM and Aquaman would also be affected by Magneto’s manipulations to the magnetic fields, and their powers would similarly be hampered. If it’s on DC Earth, then Xavier and Jean would have more power at their disposal.

Jean always plays by the rules, and Emma hardly ever does, so this may give the impression that she’s more skilled, but that’s hardly the case. I don't want to show any hatred towards Jean (and maybe my English is a bit difficult to understand)... But has Jean invented anything like Mutivac or other psi-amplifying/modifying devises like Emma? Or is prep and gadget-making are "for villains only" and good guys don't want to bother with anything like that... Of course, you may say "Jean doesn't need to invent anything- all she ever needed was made by Xavier and she is WAAAY toj powerful to use any gadgets or prep... sort of "why do I need to use a car when I can just fly there? ".
Emma &Charles team up is better in terms of prep. Jean & Charles is better in terms of raw power.
And the question is right... But Aquaman's telepathy is a bit weird and can be difficult to counter...

You seem to be mistaking Jean for her daughter Rachel Grey as your description would be more fitting of her. Jean is both more skilled and more powerful than Emma.

They are in a place where nothing inhibits their powers.
