No, it's not. He's powerful, but in terms of versatility and feats, the heralds are way over him.

Now, that may change. He prove to actually be in their league. At the moment, it's a wait and see thing.

The day Extremis can take control of Thanos's tech, or Celestial tech like Prosh (Poccy's ship in the old days), etc, is the day I burn a few issues of IM. 😒 Let's be real, Earth tech is great for where it is, nobody denies that. General level is quite below most alien tech. Couple of people like Doom, Reed, etc, are over most alien civilizations, but that's not a general view.

But as good as it is, there are some kinds of technology that just dwarf it. And IM's tech isn't the best on earth by a good stretch. Doom's is better, Reed's is better, most of what Forge can do is better (not sure if that counts), Poccy's is better, Ultron's is possibly better (debatable, but the tech is at least comparable), and a few others.

I remember an issue where IM patched into some kree technology..

I think Bendis dropped the ball with the Sentry. He wrote Sentry as regaining his memories, even though everyone else had lost their memory of him then we get a mini by Jenkins which portrayed Sentry as very much in control and experienced but now we revert back to Sentry who is comparable to a Young Avenger. His power level should be around Superman imo, he went toe to toe with the Collective, obliterated Absorbing Man and Terrax, etc. I think he could stand a bit of a depowering or at least establish something other than mental attacks as able to stop him. It'd get pretty annoying to have Sentry only able to be stopped every issue by someone mentioning the Void to him.

As for his portrayal of Ares he said that he would write a way that Ares can beat Thor, not that he would make Ares more powerful than Thor. I don't think he was trying to imply that he's gonna amp up Ares in any way. And that statement about Iron Man needing six strong guys isn't a testament to Ares strength. Wonderman is stronger than he is. But he is the god of war, is battle savvy and relentless in battle. I would go into a fight with him without knowing for sure that I could take him down.

And to get back on topic, Nova rocks. Hope we see him intergrate himself onto Earth

I know that the heralds have better feats but that dont mean that Nova is less powerful, silver surfer has better feats then galactus, IE killing tenebrious and aiegis pure PIS but none the less he's always had better feats then his boss.

However, he has "more" feats.

Yeah and thus your assumption that nova is less powerful just cause he has less feats then surfer is not that great, we have yet to see him fully go at it with his new powers.

Second issue isn't out yet, I got the first one and it was pretty good.. He returns to Earth at the end of the first, Iron Man and him shall be having talks in the second presumably.

I hope Rich pwns him, if not physically atleast verbally 😉

he's also set to go up against the thunderbolts. Hope me massacres them and iron man, then iron man will be massacred by nova and hulk
