Funniest books?

Sorry if this is a repeat thread but someone I know really well is going into hospital next week to have a brain tumour removed followed by a course of chemo and she asked me to recommend her books that she can take in with her that will make her laugh on her hopeful road to recovery. Any suggestions?

Storky: How I lost my nickname and won the girl.

I think thats the exact title. It's perverted in a funny way.

A Confederacy Of Dunces is hilarious.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Yeah, that's probably a better suggestion considering the situation.

catch-22, confederacy of dunces, anything sedaris, anything klosterman.

I checked out confederacy of dunces, it sounds great. ✅

I could NOT STOP LAUGHING!!!

Try 'Bored of the Rings' by the Harvard Lampoon. It's pure Marmite. You'll either love it or you'll hate it. I found it hilarious.

My choice for the funniest book would have to be "The Henry Root Letters", rediculous concept, brilliantly exercised, had tears from laughing too much. 😆

I couldn't stop laughing when I read "Catcher in the Rye".

Anything by Terry Pratchett.

Anything by Gerald Durrell.

Los tres chimflados

Red Dwarf Omnibus (all 3 in one) has to be the funniest book Ive ever read in my life, I normally read books only once, at the most twice if its confusing. But ive read Red Dwarf about 6 times and I roll up every time. It is absolutly hilarious, similiar to the "Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy" which someone also recommended, but "wierder imo.

Anything written by Gogol was incredibly hilarious
