It's not really precog.

She sees each path of causality to its ultimate conclusion.

So she sees each possible move.

You know the saying
"A true chess master thinks 40 (or something) steps in advance?"

She thinks hundreds of steps in advance.

So then they're powers are in direct confict, interesting.

Thats why I put the 5 min cap on each players turn to prevent them from sitting there out calculating each other for ever.

All smart people, and maybe smarter than MN'er in general, but calculating stuff (which would be needed in force to win at chess) is his specialty. I'd honestly pick MN'er against any of these people.

Millions a second....that's like Deep Blue x10 added to MN'ers human intuition.

Millions a second is like Deep BlueX0.01-0.02, depending on how many millions you mean.

Really? Huh.

Well my point still stands. 1 Million is about 999,994 more than even a good chess player can think of per second....and that's if the "millions per second" is low-millions. And he's a human, not a computer, so he has the ability to think ahead and take into account his opponents approach.

It would take similar calculating ability or pre-cog to definitively take the majority here, at least in my opinion.

Wolverine. He can play with blinding rage and strategy. Like beating 4 chess computers at the same time!

And thems late 80's chess computers.

I assumed they meant hte old rubber keyed Spectrum.

😐

Data/Vision would beat Midnighter in any situation.

Prodigy from New Mutants ✅

Be interesting to see him play against Sage.

Charles Xavier. The dude know all move of the other 😛

Sage. In terms of her cognitive abilities she's similar to Midnighter.

AFAIK Layla can actually see future outcomes through a precognition. She knows stuff. 🤨
