I was just playing the game & does anyone notice that Atlas kind of looks like Shaq during the Great War cutscene?

Btw, what do you all think will happen to Kratos when the series ends?

Just to get my thought out there, I think that Kratos will become the Christian God or something to that extent. I can definitely see him killing off all of the Titans. Athena even states that the Titans are not to be trusted & seeing as she is Kratos' only true ally (besides Gaia who may be using Kratos for all we know), she could be telling the truth. I actually hope that Athena makes a comeback, she shouldn't just die & be forgotten, especially after she's helped Kratos so much. I think that he should go back in time & save her after defeating the Gods.

The Titans will definately betray Kratos, that much I'm positive on.

I don't know why but I envision Cronos betraying Kratos with Gaia and Atlas probably being against the idea but since Kratos thinks they're all behind it, he has to go on another adventure to gain enough power to defeat the Titans. And he'll probably die again, as he's done in the last two games.

I personally think that Gaia has been manipulating Kratos all along, f Athena is telling the truth, which I think she is(she seemed to be the only Olympian to give a damn about Kratos), Gaia has been filling Kratos with nothing but half truths to trun him on Olympus for the Titans.

Honestly, I don't think Gaia is the bad guy here. I mean, she was only watching over him until the events of God of War II. Zeus began acting like a pussy & stole Kratos' power. Had he fought Kratos head on, Kratos would've beat the shit out of him & he knew it which is why he told Kratos to drain his Godly power into the Blade of Olympus. All in all, I think that both Athena & Gaia want to help Kratos but their methods are different.

Yeah & if the Titans do get killed off, she'll probably be the one Titan to live because she's Mother Earth.

We're not saying it isn't possible but it is rather unlikely as she brought him back from the dead & guided him throughout his entire quest. However, so did Zeus in the first God of War game so what I just said could mean absolutely nothing. I at least hope Atlas will live through this mess.

it could come to the same conclusion too 😬

also, just remembered..
the gods look different from GOW1 because they went mortal..they aged, but they stayed young by consuming the golden apples...
at least i think thats what happened..or maybe that was changed from the real story due to movies etc...
maybe Poseidon ate one between gow1 and gow2, and became young again 😄

I can't remember but did we ever see the Gods in the original God of War?

We just saw their faces outlines in the elements and such but was it that detailed to tell their age?

We saw their faces but they look much better in GOWII than in GOWI, at least in my opinion. And don't you all find it odd that Kratos only had one of his magic attacks & not all of them in the beginning of the game? I loved the "Army of Hades" attack.

There are no golden apples in the God of War games and the Gods are capable of shape shifting which allows them to take on any look they want.

we dont know for sure yet 😛
