If they have tricked Kratos, they're only doing it just so they can reign over the Olympians. Eventually Kratos will kill them too if they betray him.

Since God of War is a series of games that may consist of seven or more games, I wonder what they're going to do when they run out of stories involving Greek Mythology. What I thought was that maybe Kratos kills ALL of the Gods & ALL of the Titans & becomes the God we know.

No. God of War is a TRILOGY. Just 3 games.

After the first God of War game David Jaffe confirmed that God of War would be a series of games consisting of several sequels.

According to gamespot during the e3 live stage demo they did, GoW for the PSP is supposedly a prequel to the original game on the ps2.

I'm wondering what they'll be doing for GOWIII, it needs to be something interesting. I'd actually want to see Hercu;es make an appearance & have a major boss fight with Kratos.

God of War II is awesome.

Yeah, that's why I want to get it so bad. 😄

I could see that, a fight between brothers. However, it just seems that if hercules Krato's brother would have been mentioned previously in the games, or maybe he died and is living in olympus and comes to Zues' aid as Kratos is waging war on olympus. They would have to make him a pompous ass for people to side with kratos though.

I think the giants will make for very interesting gameplay in 3 though. The war on olympus will serve for a great story line too. They would defintely need to give Kratos some new abilities in god of war 3 though. Even though i though GOD2 was better than the first, The magic was lackluster and non effective compared to simply leveling up your blades of chaos. He would need new gameplay abilities to keep it fresh though.

Well, Kratos killed Perseus who was also his brother so Hercules would be no different. I think it's completely possible for this to happen since Hercules was an alternate costume in GOWII. I'd love to see how big a fight between them would be & how they'd have Kratos kill Hercules.

As for the Titans, I'd love it if we could choose who we want to play as between Kratos & the Titans. It'd be great to be able to play as the Titans especially since they'll be a big part of God of War III so hopefully they'll at least think about using this idea. I'd choose Atlas or Kronos.
