So the unbeatable Rulk just got beaten by both people he just wrecked easily first time around?

Yes but there are factors:
-Thor sucker-shotted him.
-This was in the middle of a fight.
-This was after several other battles.
-This was after Rulk had fallen from the moon back to the Earth.

Several other battles that he beat the opponent without any kind of trouble so they shouldn't have really mattered.

He took Thor's best without flinching I wouldn't think one cheap-shot would make him nearly be killed.

I doubt the re-entry from the Moon would have really hurt him at all. Unless the comic showed it hurting him then..I'm wrong.

I dunno maybe if it had been a team-up fight instead of two seperate single fights him loosing wouldn't seem bad to me. But the way he sorta punked them the first time around should have made Thor and Hulk fight together at least.

Actually that's not the pic (s) I was talking about, it's the blows Hulk landed that knocked out Rulk and just before it seemed Rulk was over-heating and apparently getting weaker.

I dont get Loeb. He ridiculously hypes the characters he is writting about just to have them get schooled/grounded by eople they were "superior" to. Same stuff happened with Supergirl's latest incarnation. I guess he just wants the attention of pissed off fans.

Isn't it possible since Rulk gives off more radiation as time goes on that Hulk absrobed it and got even stronger?

So, let me see if I can get this straight. Rulk kills Abomination, kicks the crap out of Iron Man and threatens to kill She-Hulk. And she, "Believes it." Pounds A-Bombs head into the ground, humiliates Uatu, and then breaks Hulks arm and chokes him out. Oh yeah, he killed a Wendigo in there somewhere. Thor shows up and is about as effective as a little girl. Then after jumping back to Earth from the Moon, is about to kill Hulk, when Thor shows up and all of a sudden he turns into a b****?

Well...I don't get it. There's lots of explaining to come about what Rulk could do or not do, plus his real identity.
Still, it was cool to see Hulk, Thor and A-Bomb all working together when Rulk went down. And to see Thor & Hulk shake hands and call themselves allies...I like it. 😎
The side opposing Iron Man, the Avengers and all the Pro-Reg heroes is growing into quite something, with Thor & Hulk both in the game now. Plus Hercules and all his followers - a showdown seems to be coming after Secret Invasion ends.

We haven't seen the last of this guy, and I guarantee he will somehow come back even more powerful. Problem is there is too much left unexplained about Rulks powerset.

Why he was so victorious vs Thor, Hulk, etc and now gets punked by comparison. Hopefully the writers either reveal more about his abilities or further develop him or I really don't want to see any more of this. I like well-established characters with clearly defined powersets. Red Hulk may as well as be Superman, as he has been equally as inconsistently written.

nah, it wasn't cool. all this run is doing is making me want more planet hulk/world war hulk.

some of the art/execution of the battles in those stories needed some tweeking but they (imo) are leagues ahead of this tripe @ the moment. loeb better hit us with a good twist or something (skrull/clone) because....wow my head hurts from reducing my brain cells to read this 8-bit comic.

Question - where does this fit in with Rulk's fight with the lady liberators? That's still to come?
