You're right, i'd be even more oppressed by the White people in this country during that time. Thank goodness i wasn't apart of that era. I would've been one of the ones of many to escape and/or fight to the death rather than be enslaved by any Euro-American White, in this country, during that time. Asinine... Why do Whites want Blacks to forget slavery ever happened altogether. I don't get it. It'll never happen. It'll never be forgotten about. Ever.
Anyway, I digress. If i were born in the 1840's, in the U.S., i'd not only be dead or dying by now just for being non-White, I would definitely be born in the wrong time period. I would've rose hell as an American slave and be killed/hanged by White men for it.

You wouldn't have to escape or fight to the death because us white folk don't like winy weak slaves like you we'd just let you go. We slave drivers like the strong silent type and you are neither strong nor silent so you'd have little or no value as a slave. Nobody would buy you at an auction and you’d get sent back to Africa as a defect.

I'm assuming you're White, so, as a slave owner, and/or obviously the descendants of slave owners, you'd still kill me. I'd be indirect because letting me go, as a colored person, during those times, would be just as good as dead too, so. Cause i'd be free colored person during those times in the U.S. and i'd get killed by Whites for being non-White, that's how I mean.
So death would still be my destiny. But i'd make sure i'd kick in a kneecap or gouge an eyeball or 2 out before getting bludgeoned to death.

No one is implying "we" forget slavery was a part of this county's history, the fact that students spend time learning about it should prove that to you... duh. We also have "Black History Month" to further destroy your bogus and ignorant claim. Fact is, you in no way shape or form have EVER had (not even close) it as bad as a slave circa 1800's so stop with your whining, all you do is shit on the people that endured it.

Why did you assume that just because he is white, he would kill you, many whites were trying to help blacks, esp in the north, a lot of whites died for the freedom of blacks, and i am not even including the civil war, does John (or Ron) Brown ring a bell? He wasn't the only one, so don't assume white means your enemy. Remember a lot of whites and Jews helped to free slaves. Many of the whites who came here (in the north) came for religious freedom, and wanted to work the land the same way they work it now (but with more technology) they didn't use slaves, they just wanted a peaceful place to work and worship their God, so not every white person was or is your enemy, please stop preaching this to other blacks.
