Thing vs Hulk (with a twist)

xmeat, there RULES in boxing

its very simple: hulk owns thing in a real fight.

Didn't Ben have the upper-hand in an early fight between the two and then a distraction made him look away and Hulk won via cheapshot?

Thing can last 3 minutes, definitely. He's skilled and a few punches from Hulk is nothing new. Granted, he's no super-heavyweight brick like Hulk and he couldn't just stand there and let Hulk wail on him and hope to win. But he most defintiely can last 3 minutes and a few solid blows from Hulk.

The idea that Hulk PWNZORS Thing is rooted in misinformation. Hulk does surpass Thing in strength and durability but that's far from anything new for Ben. He can hold his own very well against Hulk.

thats why i limited it to boxing where its hulk KO-abilities vs things technique

I think Hulk has the power to KO Ben with a couple hits.

Ben isn't stupid though he'll use his slight speed advantage and major skill advantage to win by points.

Ben won't be in good shape at the end (if he survives Hulk getting pissed) but he'll have a majority win.

so and as soon as they start boxing thing gets KO"ed.

that may be true. it can be taken up in another debate. but now, were discussing the results of a 1rounds boxingmatch between these powerhouses

thing has taken hard hits before, xmeat

Ben has plently of skill to prevent that and he's smart enough to maipulate Hulk into disqualifying himself.

Since when?

Classic Juggernaut > plain old Hulk. And he needed 3 punches to floor Thing. And even then Thing wasn't KO'ed.

A NOVA blast couldn't KO Thing. 2 or 3 punches from Hulk won't do it. To think that is not factual at all.

Again, Thing is more skilled and can take blows from Hulk. As long as he doesn't stand there and let Hulk beat on him, he'll survive pretty handily and win.

There is no "plain old Hulk" he really does get quite strong and a couple well placed hits should do it IMO.

I agree for the most part.

this will be a rockysituation. thing wins by skill, even through hulk is bigger and stronger. thing dont have to do damage, just using his skills.

thing 6/10

just like rocky vs ivan drago😉

so... i guess thing won🙂

there is a good chance Hulk will kill Ben if he gets mad enough. But......3 minutes is possible.

Ben will win because it's more likely Hulk will get DQed. Ben lasted 10 rounds against Champion, didn't he?

*waves giant novelty finger* GO BEN GRIMM! BROOKLYN'S ROOTING FOR YOU! 😄

Btw, Rocky got brain damage from that fight. 😆

It was 3 rounds with Champion, I think. Still, impressive. Even broke Champion's ribs.

And some band needs to make a song "It's Clobberin' Time!", pack it with an issue of Hulk vs. Thing, show a couple pages of Thing doing a training montage and then have him fight Hulk again... He'll win this time.

If the writers actually cared about what the readers thought they'd let Ben win for once, dammit.

ben is way to underrated

I quite agree. He may be a heavyweight but he fights with super-heavyweight bricks quite often and does pretty well.

Besides...he's one of the best Marvel heroes ever made. To not like the Thing is blasphemy and to underestimate him is a huge mistake.

hulk cant knockout him. he will have a hard time hitting him, hitting him right, for that sake, and to break bens will (and SKIN!)
