ahh, i remember it well. me alone vs the triumvirate of death -- cosmic cube, long pig (though he mostly stayed in the background . . .) and of course kgkg.

they said that the combination of superman, captain marvel and wonder woman had NO chance to defeat thanos. i merely said that if they could work together and use their speed effectively, they might be able to get thanos in the lasso and then he'd be screwed. well, they didn't care much for THAT opinion, and of course i didn't care much for THEIR reaction, so . . . i battled them for pages on the point . . .

not even sure how much i BELIEVED in my side, but it didn't matter much at that point. things got a bit ugly after a while, and cc hounded me in thread after thread before we finally ironed out our differences and actually became something akin to buds on the forum. even kg and i got along after a while though the bad blood still lingers between lp and i . . .

hehehe. 😄

but my first taste of kmc was a bloody one!

Started in gaming section, gradually migrated to comics. I think my first post on here was in a Terry Bogart vs. someone from Tekken thread. The video game section dragged down over time, and I moved to comics. Now I try to kill fanboys and beat down Apoc haters. 😛 And sometimes actually contribute interesting posts. 😆 Seriously, where did all these psycho Hulk fans come from? 🤨

I started in the religion section and the anime/manga section. After a while I found that the anime/manga section had died and the religion section always degenerated to the exact same discussion.

The minute someone said that T-Vo could take Thanos.

I wanted to slap a ho.

Mine was versus Whirly on "Adam Warlock vs Superman".

I was lucky enough to have a smooth integration. Mostly because I was smart enough to read about certain characters and educate myself before posting some biased fanboy opinion.

That was back in the beginning. You grow fast on KMC. For me, it's been what, half a year? Maybe a lil more. All the same, the last one to call me a fanboy (disregarding xmeat) was, I believe, David Richards.

Oh, and Martian doesnt count either. Since he only insinuated it after I "insinuated" that Jonn was a green slimy emo.

The Superman vs. Thor thread was the first time that I truly stretched my legs as a debater and moved onward from there.
