question for those who wear contacts...

Suppose I'm nearsighted, which i am by the way, i think. And I wear contacts to correct that defect. But if I wear them all the time, will the contacts effect my ability to see things in front of me? Does it matter at all? 😕

I think there's already a thread about this.

And no they won't, I know people who have worn them for years.

Nope, they won't.

Hard lenses will supposedly keep your eyesight from getting worse.

I need to get new contacts, though during the last checkup I had at the eye doctor when I got new glasses last summer I discovered that not only am I ridiculously near-sighted, I've also got astigmatism, so contacts will be more expensive.

You'd normally just want glasses if that were the case. 😬 I wear glasses pretty much all the time unless im bathing or sleeping. But thats only because contacts bother me
