Nope, they won't.
Hard lenses will supposedly keep your eyesight from getting worse.
I need to get new contacts, though during the last checkup I had at the eye doctor when I got new glasses last summer I discovered that not only am I ridiculously near-sighted, I've also got astigmatism, so contacts will be more expensive.
