America on place 10... I smell Coca Cola in that one
and Belgium on place 17 is just even more laughable! Winning 0-1 against Andorra (place 138) and Estonia (place 63) is definitly NOT worth such a high ranking!!!

well Us did do pretty good in the WC, the ranking is based on the games outside the championship and US had one hell of a winning streak in the qualifier to the WC

SO, it is the latest results that give them the grade points, and thay collected enough to be #10. Why Mexico is ranked higher than US puzzels me though casue US was better than them in the qualifier.

They played Mexico and Costa Rica and so on together with a tournament where they played and beat Brasil and Colombia and Mexico ( thre wins against them within 10 months)

the only impressive game is Brasil imo
Costa Rica isn't known for their great football, and even BELGIUM has proved they can beat Mexico!

stupid, imo the winning and the difficulty of the adversary counts!
I mean a winning against Andorra shouldn't give the same amount of points as a win against England!

cause wins against Mexico , Costa Rica the likes of Brasil and Colombia does. When US plays a friendly game they always pic a tough opponent that gives them credit too.
And to look at it they finished among the 10 best in the WC too so..

but as you said, you don't know why mexico is so high ranked
