This movie is an incredible movie. One of the most unappreciated films from Clint Eastwood and Kevin Costner. A great film about the choices people make in their lives and how years later it can affect others. And within the movie it touches on the topics of fatherhood, religion, domestic abuse, the penal system, rehabilitation, and so on. And one of the best performances by Kevin Costner too.
By all means get it if you get a chance. You won't regret it. In fact get the novel too after you watch the movie. It expands on so many of the important scenes in the movie.
