You guys not something. I can't get excited about fc. I want too , it has all of the ingredients to be an awesome event but I just can't get excited. Countdown has been so awful. Its like following a trail of shit to find a 100 dollar bill. Sure the $100 is great but you had to follow a long trail of shit to get it.

Both, they changed the name 3 times.

So in the end, what was the point of this, for an issue a week?
To set up Final Crisis?
52 had a story & point of view to explore, by comparison.

Countdown really didn't even setup Final Crisis, it really was pretty pointless

Yeah, hell, DotNG's probably set it up better. Have a couple mini-series to introduce Morticoccus and Monarch and you could easily have reduced Countdown to about 20 issues total.

I'm not quite sure how Countdown even fits in with continuity, but at least we got the real OMAC back. If Final Crisis involves him just punching everyone in the face, it'll be awesome.

Although i can see them saving him as a re-occuring annoyance for the new batman if this all this speculation about brucie-boy is true.
