Ego The Living Planet vs Two Celestials Jemiah the Analyzer and Gammenon the Gatherer.

They stop Ego's attack, and our joined with the Living Earth Ego has manipulated.

The Celestials are one of Jack Kirby's greatest gifts to Marvel.
I bet he was inspired by the ideas he saw in 2001: A Space Odyssey - he adapted that to comic form. The idea of the unseen otherworlders, shaping man's destiny from afar, acting as invisible benefactors. Even the idea of the Black Monolith - Celestials look as impassive as that object did, which would appear and vanish when it choosed.

And the Neil Gaiman/John Romita Jr. Eternals series looks great. I knew Gaiman could be counted on for smart quality of story with quiet poetry of ideas. 👆

Gammenon the Gatherer.

Gathers specimens, tangles with Thor.

The Celestial. The One Above All (TOAA).

Creates a minature black hole infront of Thor's blast. " Celestials bend time and space."

Shows Thor a past image.

The only force we have ever seen which was capable of actually destroying a Celestial, was The Heart of the Infinite.

The power of TOAA (God):

Galactus was shocked by this.

Arishem the Judge.

Getting attacked by Thor on a different planet.

Thor must combine the power of mjolnir with the magnetic energy from the planets core.

Arishem barely takes notice to the mighty attack.

But it was all for naught. Exitar the Exterminator has arrived, dwarfing even Arishem.

Exitar the Exterminator. "Destroyer of Worlds." "Purifier of Galaxies."

The enormous Celestial Exitar clearly depicted above easily dwarfs Arishem, who is roughly 2,000 ft. If you compare the two, Exitar is equivalent in height as 5 or 6 Arishem's, making him around 10,000 feet tall atleast!

Thor has never beheld such a magnificent force.

Places a barrier around the planet so nothing shall escape.

Within Exitar, even the anti-bodies give Thor a run for his money.

Black Galaxy Saga.

Recently, you thought Clor was the only clone of Thor? Well, The Celestials also made their version clone of Thor long before that. 😎

The Celestials crafted the Black Galaxy, Bio-Verse untold ages ago.

" The Celestials obliterate star systems, and enslave galaxies."

Thor seems to be the one fighting Celestials more than most, when his father isn't around.
He shouldn't win of course, but it's fun watching him try.

Birthing of a New Celestial.

The High Evolutionary, attached to the Analyzer driven mad by what he's witnessed.

The Blue Celestial Seems to be the one spearheading the chaos.

The Celestials seemed to infect Ego in some manner with a "cosmic cancerous growth." However it was never fully explained.

Here A swarm of Celestials appear from space and are either attacking Ego, or aiding Ego in some indescribable manner. Either way, Ego doesn't look like he's enjoying it.

Reed attempts to timeshift. But The Black Celestial can follow his timeshifts.
