Apocalypse vs. X-Man

In effort to see what Classic Apocalypse limits are. How would he stand up to the one of the most powerful mutants of all time?

Apcolypse dies, he gets dumped in the spiral at the very least.

I don’t know, from the respect thread I did not get the impression that Apo can take on Shaman X-Man.
But in the Thor Vs Apo their ware a few that claim he can compete with Thor.
I find that interesting, so how about a mutant that is said to be built as a living weapon to be used against Apo.

The way I see it is, X-man will burn himself out long before he can defeat Apocalypse. Shaman on the other hand, no idea. I honestly don't know if he can defeat Apocalypse at his full power.

An inexperienced Nate has fought Apocalypse (AoA), Stryfe (who owned 616 Apo), and Exodus (defeat via Psy overload).

Stryfe doesn't count. Apoc was severely weakened. Exodus feeds on psi energy, Nate beating him is PIS. and AoA Apoc sucks compared to classic.
