even if galactus is not stronger then someone like the dreaming celestials it means nothing now because now we know that galactus is only one of the balances of the universe there was also tenebres and aiges and others i think where there not as mentioned in annihilation, what i think richards is saying by saying that the dreaming celestials created galactus to be a weapon is that he orchastrated the events leading up to galactus's hunger being as powerful as they are not that the celestial created him like in a test tube or whatever.

FF is a good team
I agree with you Galan 007. Galactus>Celestials.
It is nice to see the character given the respect that the version of Galactus was intended for. I believe that the low showings come because Galactus is too often forced into storylines as a type of "ultimate threat" for heroes to overcome.
I am convinced also by the fact that Galactus is on par with Death and Eternity and is from the previous universe. Surviving the death of a universe means something.

Agree Galactus and the two others was the only one to have survived a cosmic civil war at the beginning of the universe, and don't forget that galactus did defeat both of them before and imprisond them, and they didn't have the means to escape themselves.
And agree with you on the last part to.

hmmGalactus vs over 10 billion Celestials
Take the Celestials, Alex
Excluding Scathan, Tiamut, Arishem or Exitar give the Big G a wondrous battle
Cool scan

Oh boy full potential galactus, i say he looses this match...but who can be sure, i cant wait to see a whole new section for full potential characters..hey its a good way to get characters some wins...i might try it
A full potential Galactus apprently is in this thread the Galactus that was eating the universe and eating the Black Celestial too, and was designed to be the weapon that was to kill the entire Celestial race I doesn't see how TOAA (celestial) Exitar and one more would stand a showballs chance in hell against him 😬
The celestials have better casual feats, and have jobbed far less than Galactus (marvel writers preserve one kirby legacy, and ruin another).
However, on an individual basis....I can't remember any celestial having the same scope of power Galactus has. The celestials don't have the low showings that Galactus does, but they don't have his high showings either.
...case in point, one of the most powerful celestials, The Black Celestial (aka Dreaming Celestial/Tiamut) had to use Galactus's power to enact his plans. That shows right there that the capability of Galactus>Black Celestial, otherwise, Tiamut would've used his own powers/abilities to take control of reality, instead of looking for an external (Galactus) source of control/conquest.
Some will disagree (I'm lookin at you....GUY!! haha) but that's the basis.
