Not to be picky, ok I'm being picky but that isn't always true, depending on the writer its either because he's nervous, or because he wants to enrage the enemy and make them sloppy. So you really have to pick your fav out of those lol

Anyway I'd still give this to Sabertooth, I mean look at the Spidey vs Wolverine thread, the Spidey side essentially had the only argument of using superior speed and webbing to incapacitate Wolverine. This is Sabertooth here He may not be as strong or as fast as Spider-man (but the gap here is so minimal what's the point of even debating it, after all there isn't even that big of a gap between spidey and Logan in terms of speed) Anyway the fact is Spider-man can't do anything, he webs sabertooth, sabertooth can snap the webbing, his punches won't do anything because of his durability and strength and healing factor. and sabes needs what 2 or 3 good shots at the most.

Can someone give a plausible way of Spider-man beating him, seriously (and i'm a borderline Spidey fan boy and even I can't see a way for him to win the majority)

incapacitation via webbing is the most plausible way....yeah just cuz sabes ripped through the webbing one time doesn't mean he can do it every time, Spidey can web his arms so he cna't apply his strength

also, Spidey can land punches that may render sabes dizzy for enough time to web him up in a coccoon of webbing

spidey can web sabes face up and than attack sabes while he's blind and disoriented

btw I think wolverine is more dangerous than sabes imo

and while spiderman is trying to do this he could also get one shotted with a dose of adamantium claws. Do you not understand that all it would take is one good hit. Do you not understand that its within sabertooth power to hit spiderman just like it is within wolverine power to hit spiderman. Do you not understand that both sabertooth and wolverine are tactical fighters and could find ways to circle around spiderman spidersense. Do you not understand that anything that parker throws at wolverine or sabertooth strength wise they could take it and smile with pleasure.

People fail to realize that spiderman always have trouble with superb fighters. People fail to realize that wolverine and sabertooth have dodge more than what spiderman webbing can dish out (catching bullets, dodging cyclops optic blast, dodging havoks blast, etc...). People less than wolverine and sabertooth has tagged spiderman but thats all it take is one clean hit and spiderman is done. Vulture, rhino, king pin, silver samurai, kraven, daredevil, tombstone, morlun, nightcrawler (without using teleporting and he actually beat spiderman, again without teleporting), etc..... So what makes wolverine and sabertooth so different. Why can all of these people hit spiderman and evade his webbing but sabertooth and wolverine cant.

It is within spiderman powers to beat the opponents and thats due to webbing any of his other powers are futile. We cant say that his strength would work because wolverine alone has taken punches from hulk, wendigo, thing, colossus, hercules, wonderman, iron man, roughouse, apocalypse, onslaught, grey hulk, sasquash, etc..... and bounced back up like nothing happened.

What other way besides webbing is spiderman going to beat either of these opponents and the webbing is questionable. The reason that Im saying that is because wolverine has broken out of his webbing and has also dodged his webbing easily. On every encounter spiderman and wolverine had wolverine always had the advantage (besides the time wolverine was webbed up by a spiderman that was 1. frightened and 2. snuck him while wolverine was trying to subdue a kid.

Wolverine is everything that spiderman is but with a little interest. Speed, wolverine has but i give the small edge (very small) to spiderman. Strength, give that to spiderman ten folds. Agility, spiderman has that but not a big difference and really doesnt matter. Spiderman has webbing and spidersense, whereas wolverine has a healing factor and acute senses (can never be snuck) and wolverine is one of the best fighters on marvel planet.

From what was said it seems that they are almost equal but what changes everything is the healing factor and martial arts. With all that said, imagine spiderman fighting 2 wolverines, thats what sabertooth is. He is a ruthless animal that just dont care and has everything that wolverine has plus interest. Lets put it like this, Sabertooth is morlun with a few upgrades (adamantium claws and healing factor, with acutes senses and superb fighting skills.)

This fight would end up with spiderman dead but it is within spiderman powers to get some wins because hey hes spiderman and he is very smart but a pure slug fest would be something that he would need to avoid.
