Surtur invades Marvel Earth

Surtur apparently didn't die in the end of ragnarok. He has bided his time and healed his wounds, and now sets his sights on Earth rather than Asgard as his new target.

With his weapon Twilight reforged, Surtur is confident that the denizens of Earth present no great obstacle to his domination of the planet.

Will Marvel's greatest heroes prove this God wrong or will they die in vain as Surture unleashes his wrath?

MarvelEarth FTW

(do they get prep time?)

no, this is a surprise attack.

Awsome Surtur Pic!

They still have a shot. Sentry, Strange and their ilk.

Assume in my scenario that Dr. Strange is not on Earth, but Thor has returned to Earth, as well as Hulk.

He fell, and his skull was exposed, he was dead.

But, you said he didn't die.
When obviously he did...

His retcon fu is strong...

Anyway... I didn't even read the thread... just the first sentence...
Surtur could take out any individual person on the planet... but together?

Wait... MB can ret-con books?
Is this one of your less known super powers?

Uh... MB was never affected by the Crisis.

I know and as such he retained his RetconPunch but the writers still stopped using it.

Things like that, that downgrade powerful characters to only abstract level.
